Is Iomega Quikprotect compatible with Windows 10 64-bit?

Although I can't find any official information about it, I believe that Iomega QuickProtect has been discontinued for a while now. The product's official website hasn't been longer for some time and there's no new mention of the application on the Internet. Furthermore, I may be wrong on this one, but I think that the program isn't even compatible with Windows 8, so Windows 10 support is definitely out of the question.
Love my Quikprotect, but it keeps setting up a different destination for backup every time I boot Windows 7. How can I get it to preserve "the last" setting before booting or change this "default" store-to location? Thanks for any info.

You can choose the destination target by launching the application and using Where menu. You will have the possibility to customize the destination folder.
The set up instructions, they say a copy will be made each time a file changes. Does this mean all the files will be copied again or just the changed file?

No, the application will copy the files once it detects a change. It will not copy all the files, only those who have a different meta data/header. The application is constantly running and monitoring the files which means whenever the file is changed, it will automatically use the available operation.
The program keeps trying to copy the same file, even after I have uninstalled and re-installed the program. What should I do?

Try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.
After that, try running AdwCleaner to make sure that there are no leftover rogue registry keys or toolbars in your system.
The easiest way to check if the program is working, is to create a file, set the program to automatically back it up, make a modification to the selected file and after, restore its version from QuickPortect. If the file was modified and saved, the program is working properly. Since it's a personal file backup utility, this is the only way to test its functionality.

Iomega QuickProtect note keeps popping up in right-hand corner telling me its actions. I don't want this. How can I stop it?
That is a Windows notification and there is no way to disable it because there is no option you can configure in the software's option menu.
Why is it necessary to be connected to the Internet in order to use QuikProtect?
The Internet was needed to update the application. Nowadays, the software is discontinued and that option is not needed any more.
