This program has been reported to be unavailable on a regular basis.
This implies that we are unable to provide universally applicable download links, relevant version information.
Iomega QuikProtect is an application designed to offer automatic backup for the data files on your computer, creating backup folders without interrupting your work.

The layout of the main screen is very simple and suggestive. It includes straightforward sections such as "What", "Where" and "When," which make it very easy for you to access the main functions of the application.
Thus, you will quickly grasp the steps you should follow for this process. First, choose the files that you wish the program to protect, by accessing the "What" screen. You will notice that the program provides protection for a number of folders by default and that you are able to modify them according to your interest. By accessing the "Where" screen, you may select the destination where you wish Iomega QuikProtect to send the protected files. Finally, you may preset a specific time at which you want the application to backup your files by visiting the "When" section.

Another appreciable characteristic of Iomega QuikProtect is that it stores backup files only once, which is important because, thus, it will not overload the database. It means that, if you have decided to backup files according to a schedule, it will not store the same files every time the program starts running, but only when the files have been modified.

All in all, Iomega QuikProtect proves to be a very helpful backup application, which can be conveniently used by anyone who wishes to secure the data files on their system.

QuckProtect will not backup non-standard folders I've selected in addition to the standard folders. It backs up the standard folders just fine, but will not backup the additional folders I have selected. I have no idea why as it doesn't make any sense to me. This has never worked and I ended up having to copy/paste the folders from my computer to the Iomega Home Media Network Drive.
As an example, it backs up: Contacts, Desktop (which I deselected) Documents, Downloads, Favorites, Music, Pictures, Saved Games (which I deselected), and Videos.
I have additional folders that I created under my User Account and even though I select those folders as part of the backup and monitoring, QuickProtect refuses to back them up!
I know that this SW is no longer supported, so I would really appreciate recommendations for a replacement BU SW that works with the Iomega Home Media Drive. I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
Thanks so much for your help!

      Dear User!
Unfortunately, the program can't be downloaded as it was discontinued by the developer.

In Windows 7, the QuickProtect startup needs elevation when the user is a non-admin user. Most standard users just cancel the startup of QuickProtect.
